Technical roles in GTM teams are vital to the growth of the company especially when you are entering up-market. Solution Architects are domain experts understanding the requirements of the customers and designing solutions that scale. Implementation/Forward-Deployment/Integration/Customer Success Engineers are all technical roles that vary in engineering capacity to integrate the product/solution into customers environment. They are hands-on keyboard resources working hand-in-hand with the tech teams on the customer side building relationships, being their escalation point of contact and working towards getting them to production with speed and without sacrificing on the quality. Yet, these roles do not get the spotlight they deserve and are often swept under a generic "support function".
Swetha Kolli founded this community to raise awareness of these roles outside of the traditional realm of software engineering. These roles work closely with customers and bridge the gap between product and customer needs driving value and product adoption. Her mission is to empower professionals with resources that'll help build a thriving careers.
